2012 Paul Golden Memorial Scholarship Award

The Paul Golden Scholarship Award ($1000) is based on financial need, character, scholastic aptitude, and leadership qualities.

Requirements: The Paul Golden Scholarship application must be accompanied with the following items;

1. A son or daughter of a member of the Massachusetts Juvenile Police   Officer’s Association (MJPOA). The membership must be in good   standing, paid membership dues no later than April 21, 2010.

2. The applicant must be a graduating senior from an accredited high   school for the current year, and must be accepted into an accredited institution of higher education (College, University, Comm. College, etc.).

3. A 250-300 word essay on your educational and career goals.

4. A letter of recommendation from your guidance counselor and a  recommendation from an additional person, not related to the applicant.

Deadline: The application must be received by MJPOA no later than May 28, 2010.  The Scholarship award will be presented at the MJPOA Year-End Luncheon on Tuesday June 15, 2010 11:30am at the Four Points Conference Center, Rt.1 Norwood, MA.
